Artist Statement:
Light is the drawing of contours and semitones; volumes and lines; the space around us. It creates an environment - an atmosphere - in which we live and exist every second. Every minute is refracted in the reflections of light, and it blurs within the limited spaces in fog, in the gradations of the two foundations of the world - black and white. The presence of colors through which one can feel and sense the world around us gives us different impressions of what seems, or at one time seemed familiar, commonplace, in the bustle of everyday life. I want to give to the viewer who sees my work a bit of the perception that fills me. My hope is that we will understand each other.
